   Love the boots–great look, great fit BUT they are definitely NOT black! The soles are black but the leather dark brown as are the laces. So, if you’re looking for black boots like me, these are not for you.

   Nice leather, light and soft. The closure and leather laces feel are not well designed. The shoe is too narrow.

   These boots are very poorly made. I work in an office job and they didnt even hold up for a year. After about eight months, they started clicking when I walked in what I didnt realize was that that was the soul coming apart in the middle of the boot. when I went to customer service, they told me to go find a cobbler and have them fixed despite the obvious defects. I lost a lot of faith in what I thought was a staple it and quality company.

    I bought these online so I thought they looked great in the picks but in real life I found the rubber soles a bit thin and not like the pics. They feel fine and okay but I don’t think I would have bought them if I shopped at the store.

    While the shoes are still being broken in, they are striking i appearance, quite comfortable to wear, and a conversation starter to 5he onlooker. I like them. Plus, there were affordable.

    I am an international customer, and I loved Astor Chukkas silhouette when I first stumbled upon it on the Nordstrom Rack app. Taking advantage of the sales promo on Nordstrom Rack and Frye websites, I took a chance and purchased the Black, Mushroom, and Antiqued Black in that order at different times this year before I could try one on. Finally, I received the Black sneaker boot first from the US by international freight yesterday and finally got to try on the Astor Chukka. It turned out to be as comfortable as it was gorgeously attractive.

    I look forward to completing the collection by getting the Tan Astor Chukka when its on sale.

    They need another lace hole to secure the fit. They run big, and the leather wears immediately.

    It was what I expected from Frye! The fit is good and they are quite comfortable.
