Shoe look quite nice, is comfortable, and looks dressy. However, in walking sidewalks I have found that the tip of the shoe is getting torn up.

These are a bit snug for a 10.5. I thought the leather would stretch a bit, but it’s been about 2 months with regular wear and they have not stretched out. Also, these are very hard to get on; they really, really need a loop at the back of the heel to be able to pull them up. Also, they aren’t as comfortable as I’d expected. They look great and appear to be typical good Frye quality, but the undersizing and the difficulty getting them on makes me wish I’d picked something else.

This boot looks and feels great. They are little snug on the instep, but hoping that will stretch out (using some baseballs). I typically wear a 9 in Frye, but that felt huge, so I opted for 1/2 size smaller.

I returned these after five minutes of wearing around the house. Too narrow & Tight. Not crazy about the amount of work required to put them on. They look great, and I have another pair of Frye (prison boots), which I like. Disappointed that it wasn’t a fit.

I tried multiple sizes; alas 9 was perfect for the length of my foot. The boot looks cool in the “stone” color.
After some use and breaking in, I figured out that they are two narrow for my (I think regular) feet. Maybe with time this might improved.
The sole is very hard and heavy and not comfortable for long walks. Also a bit slippery.
The insole is not removable.
My second disappointment with Frye in 5 years. I’ll stick to Ecco and Clarks.

Leather is grade A. Construction is grade A. They are somewhat narrow. I’m hoping the leather will stretch some after worn. The leather is also stiff and again hoping it softens as worn. Despite this these a very sharp shoes with lots at style and quality

These boots are very good. The quality of workmanship and materials are top notch. The color (stone) looks great with everything. The fit was dead on both size and width. They do feel slight weightier but that’s to be expected with the materials used. These will last a long time.

These are very nice looking shoes. The laces could be different to help with ease of getting these on. Flat waxed laces that these come with are somewhat tough to slide through eyelets. Round cotton laces would have worked better, in my opinion.
Contrary to what everyone says on the site, I believe these to run a bit large. I ordered true to size 9.5D and they are pretty roomy. Not bad enough to return but def not snug like so many people on here claim these to run.
Overall, very nice, handsome Goodyear welted chukka.

The leather upper is pretty comfortable once broken in. But they definitely felt tight at first. But the worst thing, and I mean the worst thing, for me was the “rubber injected lug soles.” Those things murdered both my feet and lower back. They were noisy as heck, and just would not break in. I ended up having them completely resoled with a regular Goodyear rubber sole. Now I can wear them and they’re great shoes. But I don’t recommend the “rubber injected lug soles” at all.

Solidly built shoe. But was seemingly sent two shoes from two different pairs since one shoe is reddish brown and the other a chocolate brown. They don’t match! There is also heavy scuffing all over the top of the toe box of the right shoe. Having paid over $300 for this pair of shoes, this is not acceptable.

Ive had Frye products for 25 years. Love this boot so far. Picked up an 11.5, definitely too big. Return process was very quick, got a half size down and they are perfect. Pleased by the rapid customer service and love the boot.

Bought the swede and tan….both fit well although the tan pair feels a little narrower…I’m sure they will stretch out with more wear…classic styling is really why I purchased the.

I bought two pairs of boots. I loved the boots, the construction, the soles, and just the look overall. Whats been a bit frustrating is that theyve sent me the wrong size on two, back to back orders and in the second one, they even sent the wrong color. The good thing is that customer service has been very helpful during the returns.

I really like the look of these boots. I like the way they hit my ankles. They felt great right from out of the box and did not require any sort of break-in. They appear and feel well constructed. I like that I can either dress them up or down. I typically wear a size 10 but ordered 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly.

Love my new shoes. They definitely run small. I normally wear a size 9-9. 5 and am wearing a size 8 chukka. A little tight getting on, but they wear comfortably and look great.
