Great boots. The leather forms to ur foot. Very comfy and very stylish. U get compliments on my hem all the time

Beautiful boot; ordered a half-size down; fit well but couldn’t wear with my orthotics.

Way too big and they feel cheap and hard like plastic. Definitely not worth the large price tag. Every other shoe and boot company I buy from can size a shoe correctly. This is the third pair of Frye boots I’ve gotten where the size is completely wrong. How can they screw this up so badly? Time to ditch this company.

Never owned a pair of Frye boots before and I have bought two pairs. The style is exactly what the pictures give you which is great in my opinion. These boots run a little narrow and a half size big. I normally buy 9’s and went with an 8.5 with a fair amount toe box room. The boots bring leather will also need to be broken in, which will give you a good reason to wear them all the time.

Super cool finish and well made. Ordered a whole size down and they fit like a glove with room in the toe box. They smell brand new but look like I’ve been working them in for several years. Cool factor is a 10.

Outstanding boots!

I wear a 10 normally and these were to big. Returned for the 9.5 and they fit well.

Really large (though typical with Frye) had to go down a full size from usual.

Very pleased. Exactly as shown, very comfortable and well made. I ordered a half size smaller based on all the reviews and the fit was perfect.

Quality boots that run a bit large (but them 1/2 size smaller). Very happy with them.

I ordered these a half size smaller than usual, based on other reviews here. They were too small. Ended up with my normal size (10.5), so that’s my recommendation. Luckily exchanging with Zappos was a breeze.
Also, the leather quality and build seems great.

Based on reviews i bought them a 1/2 size smaller and have no issues. They’re real leather so they’l take some time to break in. For the money i have to say i’m quite disappointed in the arch or should i say lack there of. These are basically like walking on a wooden board with fabric over it. i’m hoping this breaks in and becomes less hard. They look great…

Love these — have ordered different shoes from Frye after enjoying these. I ordered a half size smaller as recommended and they fit perfectly. They were a little tight the first couple days but after wearing them in and having the ability to resole them (I took my previous pair of Timberland Earthkeepers to a shoe repair place and the guy told me he couldn’t fix them due to the way the ‘upper’ was stitched to the soles.
One thing to note: I’ve had them less than a week and already one of the grippy things on the sole has fallen off. I removed a star from this review. From the leather alone I get the feeling I’m going to have these for a long, long time.

Purchased for college aged son who wanted a black boot. These are as cool as they look in the picture. Taking a while to wear in, but that’s to be expected. Very nice quality.

I took the advice of others and sized down one half and they fit perfect. The toe box isn’t as wide as my Chippewa’s nor are they as comfortable but they broke in fairly quick and are comfortable. The zipper is necessary because if it wasn’t there I can’t imagine getting these on/off very easily. Overall, I really like these boots.

I have 5 pairs of boots, 4 are Fryes and 1 pair of Red Wing Amber Iron Rangers. Without hesitation the Bowery Lace up are the best boots I own. The quality is top notch. These things are built like tanks and they’re extremely comfortable. Honestly, all of my Frye boots are well made but these are in a class of their own. The little bit of sprinkles of color on the toes really give these things some great character. The pictures here don’t do them justice. I would give up all of my boots, including my red wings, for these baby’s.

Very high quality product. Same with all the other reviews, this boot runs VERY big. I usually wear 10.5/11, and i bought a 9.5 for this boot.
My only complaint is that i have to loosen the laces completely in order to put them on and take them off. Otherwise it is too snug to put on. I have only had them for 3 months so we’ll see if breaking them in helps.

So frustrated with this brand -Frye’s. They manufacture an awesome, quality product but only offer one fit – medium D, which is narrower than the standard width. Surely they must have realized that the average guy cant wear their shoes?

Normally wear an 11 but took advice from others to go down 1/2 size and that worked fine. One hiccup though, the zipper broke immediately when I tried them on. Frye QC has obviously changed over the years. Returned them disappointed.

Great pair of boots. Leather is soft and immediately wearable, no need to break in. Order one size smaller than normal thought.

Terrible quality. After less than 12 months, the leather cracked and peeled. The Frye customer service declined to replace. For boots this expensive, it’s an absolute joke. I’ve had Frye products that lasted much longer and had great customer service. It seems the company has taken a turn for the worse. I would warn against buying any of their products.

Absolutely terrible product. Didn’t last a year. For boots this expensive, you expect a lot more. Frye’s customer service was uninterested in honoring the quality of their product. I’ll never purchase any of their footwear again.

These boots are absolutely awesome. The leather sole starts to form to your foot for fantastic support and comfort. Look awesome and always get compliments on them.

Looks sharp. Smell like fresh leather.

If you have wide feet like me, you will have issues with the shoe. They are good looking, but the way my foot is, I couldn’t even get my foot in the shoe. First time I had an issue with Frye
Good marks for the shoe, just didn’t fit me
