Suede venetian on a leather sole is a nice concept. For me they are tapered enough, and still give me room.
A bunch of wears and they are good. No maintainance on my part.
I love the look and they go with so much.

Having previously bought Frye boots, I thought I’d need to get a half-size smaller, like with boots. THIS IS NO THE CASE. THESE FIT TRUE TO SIZE. THEY ARE GREAT. They’re built like Frye boots, but they’re loafers. It’s great. Don’t size down, recklessly, like I did. True to size, people. True. To. Size.

i usually wear a zise 8 in nike but frye’s tend to run a half size smaller for me. that said, 7.5 was a perfect fit for me

Solid slip-ons, especially Venetians are a hard find for me and I think for men in general. I loved this pair when I first saw them and wore them, that being said they have not aged well and look very used (and not in a good way) after only a few times wearing them. Also, I experienced the stitching coming apart as well just like the review below.

Purchased a month ago. Mighty run a little small. Good quality I expect from Frye. Not really dress shoe but a casual almost deconstructed look. i really like them & will probably buy another pair.

I’m very happy with these shoes. They look every bit as good as they do in in the pictures. I ordered my usual size but found them to be a little tight in the around the sides. I think they might have steatched a little bit but still snug. I ended up ordering a second pair a full size larger. A little more length in the toe than I needed but the width is spot on and they fit securely.
I ended keeping both pairs of shoes. The smaller pair fit fine without socks, the larger pair I wear with socks.
If you have wide feet I don’t think these will work for you.

I typically wear size 9.5. That wouldn’t work with these shoes — I went a half size larger & they fit well. Very comfortable.

The shoes felt great… but I’m typically a size 10 and their size 10 fit my brother in law who’s a size 11.5-12. Way too big

Like the shoes very much. The color was not as expected. Photo appeared to be more of a neutral tan color, but the shoes were more brown, almost like a British tan. Will try in another color.

Ordered a size 10 when I normally wear a 10 1/2 and they still seem a bit big…ordering a 9 1/2 and hoping they fit better. However…the shoes are very good looking and hopefully the 9 1/2 fit the bill!

Ordered down a full size from my normal 10.5 and the fit is good. Nice leather and quite good looking. Not overly happy with some of the leather on the sole of one shoe but I figure they’re soles so they’ll probably be fine. Overall pretty sweet…just make sure you measure accordingly!

These are nicely made, good looking casual slip-on loafers. Mine are suede. I like the style and construction. Every review seems to give a different description of the fit. In my case, they run long, but true to width. I’ll probably need to use a slim insert to take up space.

I purchased the Chris Venetian in indigo. I love the look of the shoe and it’s super comfortable (when it’s not digging into my Achilles heel). I purchased heel inserts which fixed that problem. Another problem that I have yet to resolve is finding a no show sock that actually no-shows.

This is my third pair of Venetians, so obviously really like them. I order a half size smaller than I normally wear, not necessarily because they run large, but because I feel this style shoe requires a bit more snug fit.

I use to love Frye shoes and bought several pairs of the Horween moccasins, boat shoes and the camp moccasins in navy that was American made. Ive been looking for several years for Frye to make them again. They held up wonderfully and are beautifully crafted. Please bring back the American Made line. Until then I WILL NOT buy Frye products.
